Dropbox and Google Drive folders slow to open from SSDview story

I know this is a first world problem, but I find it interrupts my flow. When I click on any other folder on the C drive, it takes about 0.5 seconds to open. However, if the file is txt file, I can cat it with adb shell cat <file> For example, I can get the content of /sdcard/install.log with adb shell cat /sdcard/install.log But I cannot get the /sdcard/install.log with adb (HowTos)
