The Problem With Foundersview story

http://techcrunch.com –  Feeling bored at work? Just go start a company. Feeling depressed about life and lack any direction? Just go start a company. Broke up recently? Just go start a company. Had a parent die and can’t move on? Just go start a company. (To be fair, I overheard that one last year. Apparently the idea is that you get so busy you can’t think about anything else. (IT news)

[CONFIGURATION] Nvidia series 6 cards in 14.04view story

https://www.kubuntuforums.net – Upgraded from 12.04 a week ago and everything went smoothly except for the Nvidia 6150SE video card. Neither the 304 nor the 173 driver work with my old 6150SE video card. I think I was using version 195 on 12.04 but lost it somehow in the transition. Nouveau will usually work but it occasionally locks up during boot. Anyone know how to get the Nvidia drivers working for a series 6 card in 14.04? (HowTos)

Excessive rate of ARP request from Windows 7 when WLAN service is activeview story

http://superuser.com – I'm having series of ARP requests broadcast by a laptop, asking MAC address for a range of IP on the LAN (192.168.0.62 --> 192.168.0.94.) The process runs for the range, stops for a 20 or 30 seconds, then repeats. The rate peaks at 10 to 20 request per second, but there are also interruptions. IP are polled almost in increasing order. Which motherboards/CPUs will work with 4+ GPUs?view story

http://superuser.com – I'd like to build a GPGPU machine with four (or as many as practicable) GPUs. Which motherboard/CPU combinations can support four or more GPUs? Is there some fundamental limitation of 40 PCIe lanes per socket? (I read about this in forums, but didn't find any reliable info) Here's a catch though: all GPUs must work at PCIe 3.0 x16, as dropping down to 2.0 or x8 halves the bandwidth. (HowTos)
