How to execute a .sh file?view story

http://askubuntu.com – I just install Ubuntu. One of the things I miss about windows is the lack of executable. When I right click the .sh file, go to permissions, and check "Allow executing as a program", it never does execute as a program when I double click it. Another solution I found is doing it in the terminal. This doesn't work either. What am I doing wrong? (HowTos)

Taskbar & Toolbar go unresponsive JWM/Xview story

https://bbs.archlinux.org – Hey all, this is a strange one I have no idea what the issue here could be.  I'm running JWM as my WM and more often than not the taskbar and panel/toolbar will go complete unresponsive, it's really quite frustrating.  Terminating and restarting X does not solve the problem, typically the problem just randomly goes away for the session after a few reboots.  Is this a known (HowTos)
