No sound on Dimension 4600 with F21view story

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – I dug up my old Dell Dimension 4600 and installed Fedora 21 using the Live DVD. The system has about 500 GB disk and 2 GB memory and uses an integrated sound system on the mother board. But with the speakers plugged in, I get no sound. I also tried it with a sound PCI card but no noise. How do I find out if the OS even knows about it and what type of driver is loaded for it etc. (HowTos)

No user list box when I loginview story

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – Problem: When I boot up to F21 no user list box appears, only the words "not listed?". When I click on "not listed?" then I'm asked for username and password and I'm able to get in. Everything then is normal. This isn't the way it usually worked. (HowTos)
