SSL on freenode Irssi seems to connect, but everything I type is scrambledview story

http://superuser.com – I followed these instructions from freenode to configure SSL from my raspberry pi that I'm running headless. I can connect to freenode. It asks me for my password. It accepts my password, but then every key I input from there comes up doubled or scrambled on my screen. Commands still work fine, and my whois tells me I have a secure connection. But what gives? I can't read what I type. (HowTos)

Android - setBackgroundColor int value too large?view story

http://stackoverflow.com – I'm trying to understand something about this method, setBackgroundColor(int) in android. I keep seeing people say that to use it with hex values, you should do 0xFF000000 + 0x[6 digit hex value that you want] But, and correct me if I'm wrong, isn't 0xFFFFFFFF, a legal input to the function, larger than the maximum size of an integer? Why am I allowed to put it in as input? (HowTos)

Does Slackware have a discussion forum?view story

http://www.linuxquestions.org – Obviously I don't mean here where we deal with software queries. I mean where we can discuss, speculate etc. instead of annoying, understandably, the moderators here and have a discussion that is between slackers and not with people from other distros who happened to see an interesting discussion of ours on LQ Spy.
