Experiences with Verizon Prepaid?view story

http://forums.anandtech.com – My contract on verizon ends in 10 days. Thinking of switching to verizon prepaid (ALLSET plan for $45/mo - unlimited talk/text + 500MB data). I typically use between 500MB-1GB in data a month, but figure I can always purchase another 500MB for $5. Anyone have experience with coverage/speed? (Hardware)

2.1 or 2.0 computer speakers (bang for buck)view story

http://forums.anandtech.com – I'm looking for a new 2.1 or 2.0 setup to replace my aging Klipsch Promedia 2.1. It should be good for music and video, with casual gaming a bonus. Doesn't need to be 'audiophile' quality. Hoping for something cheaper than Klipsch that still does an adequate job, but willing to rebuy Klipsch if that's still the best option. (Hardware)

Windows Module Installer high cpu usage on my new tabletview story

http://forums.anandtech.com – Got myself Dell Venue 11 Pro 7130 tablet, 8GB/256GB config. Did a clean Win8.1x64 reinstall, installed manufacturer drivers (as opposed to the ones provided by Dell), everything is running smooth except for the Windows Module Installer process. It keeps eating around 30% of my CPU time which drains the battery and also makes the fan spin up on an otherwise quiet tablet. (Hardware)

Most of time I get this weird corruption on flash video with firefox (flash 15.0.0.152), usually the element contain a corrupted version of some other tabbed page. If I can put the video on fullscreen I don't get any corruption. Disabling the video acceleration don't change anything. (HowTos)
