Moto G & Disney Junior Watchview story

http://forum.xda-developers.com – I'm rather disappointed. I purchased a Moto G for my son, in lieu of an iPod Touch. After configuring everything and installing aps, I see that Disney Junior Watch is not compatible with the device. This is one of the reasons behind the purchase. Anyone else find a way around this issue? (HowTos)

How can I tell what's happening to my packets? (Solved - netmask issue)view story

http://serverfault.com – I'm trying to bring up a little box on my network. I just reflashed the firmware and it's supposed to come up as 192.168.1.1 by default. My router is a DSL modem at 192.168.0.1; it usually uses a netmask of 255.255.255.0, so I can't talk to the new box. I telnet into the router and use ifconfig to change the netmask to 255.255.0.0, but I still can't ping 192.168.1.1. (HowTos)

linux fdisk isn't compatible with windows-xp?view story

http://serverfault.com – I have a 3TB drive. to install windows-xp I zeroed out mbr. in the installer I created a 30GB partition. partitions larger than 30GB cannot boot with this disc and my BIOS. (to figure this out I had to start some windows-me fdisk and check how large the disk is from its point of view. it was about 40GB.) next I booted into a recent linux, backed up mbr, and then started to partition the disc.
