B&N Nook does not work on Ubuntu 14.04view story

http://ubuntuforums.org – Hi all; I spent at least 4 hours today trying to get Nook for PC to run on Ubuntu 14.04 with Wine. I know that I could have purchased the book on Amazon Kindle, and if I couldn't get the Kindle PC app to run on Ubuntu, I could always use their Cloud Reader. But I found the book for $11 less than it was on Amazon at B&N Nook. (Hardware)

Switching the ISP in Firefox?view story

http://ubuntuforums.org – I use a vpn. What it does is show a generic ISP that I am sure can be associated with the VPN service. I feel that makes my browser too unique. Is there a way to manually change the ISP to something very common? (Hardware)

http://ubuntuforums.org – Hi I noticed that several years ago, Sleepless Software published a free version of this game for DOS, and you can still find it on other websites. Unfortunately, the Linux version of Inner Worlds was available on the original CD, but I think they never published as a free version for Linux users. (Hardware)

http://forums.anandtech.com – Back in the day I loved AMD and now not so much I have an AM3 mobo and CPU and DDR3 RAM but the CPU light on my mobo is red indicating the CPU is not working. Friggen Comcast and their throttling...view story

http://forums.anandtech.com – No I haven't been downloading torrents or pr0n, all I did was download the games from the Square Enix bundle on HumbleBundle. I get this crap all the time...every month I'm allowed to download one or two games before I get throttled to hell. Now my internet is near useless until they decide to stop screwing me.
