Cronjob script not renaming fileview story

http://www.unix.com – Hello, I have below script, which connects to ftp server, pull a file and then it renames it after deleting previous day file. This was working before but now it is not able to rename 'Red_bill.txt' to `Red_bill.V01.txt`. If I run manually 'rename Red_bill.txt Red_bill.V01.txt', I am able to rename, but script is not able to do so. Is something wrong or changed on below script ? (HowTos)

Window AC unit in horizontal slide windowview story

http://forums.anandtech.com – We have been looking at window AC units but have a hurdle: All of our windows large enough are horizontal slide windows. I found a couple instructables (here and here) to work around the mounting issue. Any suggestions/thoughts before I attempt? We are eying a Danby model @ Costco, $260, cools 500sqft (12-13,000 BTU). http://unix.stackexchange.com – I'm having a blonde moment. Problem Statement: So I have some timestamped data in a file which constantly at arbitrary intervals gets updated, and I just want to filter out data for the previous full hour (i.e. if the time now is 14:35, I mean for the period between 13:00-14:00, similarly if the time 00:03 it will be 23:00-00:00). How do I temporarily edit a webpage in Chromeview story

http://android.stackexchange.com – I want to temporarily edit the webpage displayed in Chrome on my phone, something similar to Chrome desktop's "inspect element" feature. I understand this is temporary, but I want to do some tests. I don't see that option in the application itself, do I need an extension, an other app, or is it impossible ? Thank you (HowTos)

broken upgrade from 14.04 to 14.10view story

http://askubuntu.com – I'm trying to upgrade to 15.04 and have hit a snag in the intermediate step going from 14.04->14.10. After what I thought was a successful update, things are not entirely right: 1. I'm running 3.16.0-34-generic (which is 14.04) 2. lsb_release -a give 14.04 3. About this computer gives 14.10 4.
