http://forums.fedoraforum.org – Hi experts, I do need some help, advice. I was unable to find error log, if there exists any. Thus no debug information. Maybe You could help me narrow what is wrong in my configuration. Problem is that moving mouse cursor to position not always (sometimes it works normally, but mostly not) trigger action. Like highlight user (or button), allowing it to be selected in gdm. (HowTos)

Nvidia breaks brightness controls. Editing xorg.conf, installing pommed and changing grub doesn't helpview story

http://askubuntu.com – Hardware: 13" MacBook Pro 5,5 (Summer 2009), GeForce 9400M. OS: Ubuntu 12.04.2 AMD64 My hardware and OS are similar to what some others with this problem had, but what worked for them doesn't work for me. Unfortunately, with the nvidia driver, the brightness controls (F1 and F2) do not work - no feedback at all. (HowTos)

How to force X to use specific display, regardless if it is plugged in?view story

http://unix.stackexchange.com – As it says in title: How to force xorg to use specific display trough HDMI, regardless if it is plugged in? I have TV that has some crazy "power save" option that can't be turned off and X thinks that HDMI is unplugged. After that, everything goes mad and sometimes my program bricks. If I could tell X to act as there is always that TV plugged in into HDMI that would solve problem. (HowTos)
