http://forums.opensuse.org – Has anyone managed to get VirtualBox Guest Additions enabled in openSUSE 11.3? I just tried installing the Milestone 3 release in VBox. After installing a KDE system from the DVD, I ran an upadate which automatically installed virtualbox-ose-guest-tools, which I assumed were the guest additions packaged for openSUSE (am I right). http://forums.opensuse.org – Hi, I recently bought a HIS HD 4670 IceQ card but can't get it to work in openSUSE 11.2 Under Windows the card works fine, so I assume there is no hardware problem. I tried this card in two computers with different mainboards, but it does not work. (Distributions)
http://forums.opensuse.org – Hi, I made a kernel module package for opensuse 11.2, kernel 2.6.31-12 (latest update at time of writing). It supports opengl (glxgears has 2000 frames in 5 s), 2D is faster than by using vesa only. But compiz/kwin effects dont work. Open Arena works but is not as fast as under windows xp. I think its a xorg.conf issue. Any help appreciated. (Distributions)
http://popey.com – When comparing operating systems people tend to roll out the same old reasons every time. I think those of us who use Ubuntu are already aware that we have less viruses than Windows, less malware, it’s free of cost and so on. I’m sure we’ve pointed out plenty of times that you’re legally entitled to copy the CD and even create your own remix. (Distributions)

http://forums.opensuse.org – Searching my system and documentation, I can't find where X is putting its configuration file now. Used to be in /etc/x11/xorg.conf but it's not now. That was as of 11.0. Apparently it has been changed but where? Searched in the forum and on xorg.foundation which still shows the old location. Thanks for any help.;) (Distributions)

(Software)
http://www.linuxquestions.org – My recent borked upgrade to -current is possibly still causing me problems with Xorg, and I have learned in the past that having broken stuff in */lib* dirs can lead to weird problems. This inspired me to try to come up with a way to sanity-check the */lib* dirs for broken library symlinks (possibly indicating missing libs) and for libraries that belong to no installed package.
