But now on ubuntu, i type in the correct password, and i know the correct password 'cause i just set a new one today, but it still won't connect. (HowTos)
http://forums.opensuse.org – Hi there, I have not used Linux since university and I finally got fed up with windows, so I installed Opensuse 11.2 on my Dell D430. Changed the wireless adapter to an intel one and everything work, except the Broadcom ethernet 5257 Adapter. I tried everything with my limited knowledge, using the bnx2 module instad, blacklisting tg3 etc but to no avail... no eth0 (Distributions)
http://ubuntuforums.org – i refuse to accept that my problem does not have a solution. someone please help. the problem simply is that even while connected i cannot surf or ping my isp. my hardware is a huawei E156G usb modem. new clues: the system time gets changed and set back by 6hrs once i connect the modem. also wondering if its possibly ipv6 issues or maybe my isp does not assign me an ip address? http://ubuntuforums.org – So I am having this problem because I don't know anything about routers and I don't know anything about linux. When I first upgraded to 9.10 the network manager wouldn't connect to my DSL so I used the pppoeconf ( I don't know what it does just that it works now). (HowTos)

http://forums.opensuse.org – I have been running SUSE 11.1 on my HP laptop for over a year. For the most part, I am thrilled with it. However, when I awaken the computer from hibernation mode, I have to go into the Network Settings applet proceed with the wizard in order to get my wireless connection working. (Distributions)
http://ubuntuforums.org – I've got a mobile broadband USB pen (ZTE MF627). Following the instructions on this forum, the modem is recognized and I can get a connection on networkmanager. However, it is awfully slow. I believe it is working on 2G rather than 3G (there's a blinking green led instead of the blue one I get on windows). Is there a way to toggle between 2G and 3G? Thanks in advance. (HowTos)
