Window Corruptionview story

https://bbs.archlinux.org – #! wrote:the latest beta drivers cause my screen to stutter when switching between 2D and 3D clocks and the only solution I have found for that is to significantly underclock my card (this happened in both Ubuntu and Windows). The drivers are labled as beta for a reason, look for a possibly more stable driver.( I personally would return the card. Installer can't recognize Win 8 file system - Dell XPS 15 (P31F) (2013 edition)view story

http://ubuntuforums.org – I have a new Dell XPS 15 P31F, but when I try to install Ubuntu on it, the installer is unable to properly detect the Windows 8 file system on the laptop. I want to install Ubuntu alongside Windows 8 preferably, though I'd also take installing it by itself and keeping my recovery partitions. When I try to run the installer, the error I get is "No root filesystem detected. (Hardware)

X25M G1 switched system, doubled and halved in speed.view story

http://hardforum.com – I'm working on my old netbook that I sold to someone, was given it in exchange for labor setting up a new laptop to replace it. Well, first off, when I was disassembling it to pull the drive for data transfer, I must have fucked something up, as now the netbook won't power on. So much for coming out ahead in this deal...but it did have an 80GB X25M G1 in it. (Hardware)
