[SOLVED] [lubuntu] How to Configure Desktop Notificationsview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – How do I configure Desktop notifications in Lubuntu? I can find no preferences or settings anywhere for this. In the screenshot, the default settings encroach on the window title bar and controls and this needs to be moved elsewhere. Also, there should be other styles. This is Lubuntu 14.04. Thanks. EDIT: OK, I found the solution to access a dialog using the command line. (Hardware)

[ubuntu] Still have old many problems after 14.04 installview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – Hi I did an upgrade from 12.04 to 14.04 and still have the same problems I had with 12.04. Importantly, my system freezes when I try to open a second or third file at the same time. Sometimes it's with a video and other times it can be any file at anytime. It hangs showing the spinning loading icon and dims the screen and locks out any other operations. (Hardware)

[xubuntu] Alt + F11 works badly: keeps window on topview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – Hi, I use Alt + F11 to make games and terminals fullscreen. However, as of 14.10, a fullscreen window is now always on top, which prevents me from quickly Alt-Tab-ing. It makes it very hard to switch away from a fullscreen window. Is there a way of restoring the old behaviour, where Alt-Tab was easy? (Hardware)

http://ubuntuforums.org – FML I'm running 14.04 on a AMD Quad Core with 4Gb RAM. My system has been getting progressively flaky for a while, with odd little issues that were more annoying than anything else. Yesterday an update for Time-zones failed to install, which seemed a bit strange. I then tried to start Google Chrome browser, but it wouldn't load. (Hardware)
