On Monday I ran my phone on mobile data all day, no WiFi, a mix mostly 4G and some 3G. Today (Wednesday) I ran my phone in typical fashion. http://androidforums.com – Hello, When I drag down the top status bar to look at the Quick Settings, I see that everything is off apart from Mobile Network (e.g. GPS is off, Wifi is off, etc). I'm keen on optimising the battery life. Yesterday I was standing on the street and fired up Maps, and the GPS automatically identified my location. How did this happen if it's indicated as Off?
