[gnome] Personal Slideshow Wallpapers Tutorialview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – If my memory serves me well (and to be honest, it lets me down on quite a few occasions these days!), you could add slideshow wallpapers to earlier versions of Ubuntu, but currently System Settings -> Background allows you to add images but not slideshows. There are a few tutorials/threads around that explain how to add slideshows to the system so that all users can access them, but I couldn't (Hardware)

scrolling wallpaperview story

http://forum.xda-developers.com – I know this is a topic that has little consequence, but i was using a gallery wall paper and it was allowing scrolling, then i switched to another and was forced to crop the wall paper to a static size. After this happened i went and did a search and found out that the sgs3 doesnt support scrolling wall paper natively and that you need to dl a live wallpaper app to make it work. (HowTos)

Here is what I expect to happen: Boot laptop > Use laptop > Close lid > Open lid > Enter password > Continue using laptop. However, what is happening is I open the lid and get the desktop wallpaper, but nothing else. (Hardware)

[ubuntu] How to change the color of desktop icon fontsview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – I think this has been asked/answered but cannot find it using search. I have a wallpaper that is quite light and the fonts under the icons are white with shadows. They are not all that easy to see and read--fine if the background image was black or dark. How do you change the color of the icon fonts??? (Hardware)

News Wall live wallpaperview story

http://forum.xda-developers.com – I updated my firmware to XXLG8. The News Wall live wallpaper now has a blue background instead of the black one. There is no option of getting it to return to its original black background state. We all know that the black background looks stunning on the Super AMOLED screen. Does anyone know how I can get that back? I'm not rooted nor am I willing to root yet. (HowTos)
