Centos & USB diskview story

http://www.linuxquestions.org – I just started using CentOS 6 three days ago. I'm baffled by a lot of things, but the most recent is this: I'm was able to plug 'n play my USB flash drive (original formatting, straight out of the package, and brand new, but with some files on it that I created in both OS's) in Windows Vista (Home, SP2, I'm on a dual boot PC) until a couple hours ago. Trying to add Windows 7 to grub2view story

http://askubuntu.com – So I just got a SSD that I installed Ubuntu 14.04 on. I did this by using a disk. For some reason it would not allow me to install it from windows 7. So right now I have to go into my BIOS to switch between the two OS. I would like to add windows 7 to GRUB instead of messing with my windows boot loader. (HowTos)

Can I install unsigned Windows drivers to work without test mode or disabling driver signing and without buying a code signing certificate?view story

http://superuser.com – Can I sign drivers with a "self-signed" certificate, to work just with this PC, of course, and not have to use DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS, TESTSIGNING or Test Mode? Many modded drivers for legacy devices (e.g., ppjoy) are unsigned don't work in x64 Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8. If this is possible, how? (HowTos)

Windows 7 vs Vista, today?view story

http://superuser.com – When Vista first came out it sucked really hard but nowadays it's alot better. It's hard to tell the difference between Win 7 and Vista. I can't really see any difference. Is Vista and Win 7 nowadays pretty much the same OS or should I update to Win 7? (HowTos)

[ubuntu] Can't boot after installing Ubuntu LTS 12.04 alongside Windows 8.view story

http://ubuntuforums.org – Hello, I'm new to Ubuntu. After installing the Ubuntu LTS from a LiveUSB, only the GRUB Minimal Bash-like is showing on start up. I've created separate partitions for Ubuntu as stated by a guide. I've googled the problem but it seems like it's a case-to-case basis since each of the users are posting the results of their bootinfoscript. (Hardware)
