why can my Belkin usb wireless adapter be seen by some distro's and not othersview story

http://www.linuxquestions.org – I have a Belkin usb adapter ieee 802.11b/11 Mbps model # F5D6050. It is readily "seen" and activated by some distro's, i.e., PClinuxos but not many others. I do not know how to go about getting these other distro's to use this adapter. They find no wireless networks! I would appreciate any help! Thank you (HowTos)

http://ubuntuforums.org – I used Synaptic to install the ndisgtk and that worked fine....I downloaded the .inf file off the cd and that seemed to work fine (green light came on on the wireless USB) - however, it doesn't show me as having any wireless networks in range or anything, and I can't connect to the internet. I'm connected now with an ethernet cord :) I have no idea how code works in Linux, so if someone can help (HowTos)

OCZ Enyo 128GB USB 3.0 Portable SSDview story

http://techgage.com – "Fast". It's a word that can be explained in a billion different ways, but one of my favorites is to talk about the potential of OCZ's Enyo SSD. As a portable drive, it delivers mind-blowing performance, at up to 200MB/s for both the read and write, and as an added perk, it's small, stylish, and priced surprisingly well. (General)

http://techgage.com – Have media on your PC, but want to watch it on anything but the PC? With ASUS' O!Play, getting that job done is simple. Take 30 seconds to hook it up to a TV, and you can stream media through a network, or via external storage, such as eSATA or USB. It's simple, and at $100, it's not too hard on your pocketbook, either. (General)
