[ubuntu] Help getting Logitech Quickcam to workview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – Hi, I searched on google and confirmed that ubuntu version 7.x worked with my webcam using the gspca. The hardware ID is 0x092E. However, my current ubuntu version of 9.1 doesn't work. Both Cheese, and a webcam test website doesn't detect my webcam at all. The webcam LED just stays on all the time. I'm not too sure where to go from here. (Hardware)

[ubuntu] LED on USB thumb drive?view story

http://ubuntuforums.org – Not that this is a problem, but it's something I noticed. When I put a thumb drive in on a windoze pc the led on the drive comes on. When I unmount it the led goes out. Handy to know when the drive is completely unmounted. When I unmount in Ubuntu the led stays on. (Hardware)

[64 bit] Epson NX415 Debian/Gnome mini-Howtoview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – First off, The reason I like gutenprint better than any other I have tried, is that for this printer, gutenprint's driver offered the most options for print quality settings and things like this. Also....I am using Debian 5.04 and Gnome but this should be very similar for Ubuntu This is what worked VERY well for me: (Hardware)
