Entered the BIOS setup on the Samsung, disabled "Secure boot", selected CSM boot, temporarily disabled SSD boot, and moved USB to the top of the boot list. Boot machine with USB stick in: No dice. Reading from USB serial port under Cygwinview story

I have an Arduino hooked up via USB to my LapTop for data reading.
