Kernel Panic in new 14.10view story

http://ubuntuforums.org – I am running a Gigabyte GB-BXi7-4770R, Ubuntu 14.04 gave me a Kernel Panic when I tried to install. I was able to get one of the daily builds of 14.10 to install. I was really looking forward to the final release. Downloaded the ISO and loaded to a USB flash drive. When I used the "try Ubuntu" option it Paniced. I then tried to go directly to the install option , same thing. (Hardware)

[ubuntu] Can't install and/or print to USB printer on networkview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – I have a Brother printer connected to a PC via USB running Ubuntu 14.04. Printer works. I installed the printer on 2 laptops running Ubuntu. Printer wouldn't work. I was told to use CUPS to 'publish' the printer. That worked and I was able to print from both laptops. The properties were automatically changed to something like ipps: . . . that was weeks ago. Failed to Root Stellar?view story

http://android.stackexchange.com – So I have a galaxy Stellar. I found many ways to root it online, and have been through a number of them so far. By all accounts, the device is rooted. The rooting apps all reported success, apps like rootchecker all report that the device is rooted, but when I attempt to do anything that requires root (editing/deleting files in the root directory, moving apps to the SD card) I simply cannot. Pentium Anniversary Edition for Webview story

http://hardforum.com – I would like to play with the Pentium AE and now I have the perfect excuse: I need a new PC for an elderly person, HDD is failing, PSU is acting up and it's already 9 years old. He does a lot of web browsing and some video watching from time to time. I see he hates waiting for it to start up, so SSD is a certainty already. 1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? (Hardware)

http://ubuntuforums.org – Two days ago I booted with my usb into CAElinux using my computer which has Ubuntu installed on it. Right after restarting my computer I got the `error: hd0 read error, grub rescue >` message. I installed boot-repair-disc on an usb and booted into it. It did not give the `recommended repair` option, only the scanning. So I did that. (Hardware)
