http://askubuntu.com – I recently replaced the hard drive of my Samsung n102 netbook with a brand new hard drive. I can't get the computer to read the ubuntu 12.10 install disc at all. It says "OS not found" despite me having changed the BIOS boot order to read the CD/DVD reader I've connected by USB first. What should I do do you think? Any help would be much appreciated. (HowTos)

http://unix.stackexchange.com – I wrote C that displays info about my hardware on ubuntu. Now I wonder how I can make it more flexible such as querying the hardware directly instead of the file the os updates. So I think I can look what write to /proc/scsi/scsi and do the same so that this code can work also on unices who could have other method than a /proc/scsi/scsi and so that I can learn how to display hardware information. http://forums.androidcentral.com – I have a Verizon USB modem. Is there an android tablet I can buy that will work with my USB modem? I would rather not get an embedded 3G/4G tablet. I want the functionality to be able to use the USB modem in my current Windows laptops as well. (HowTos)
