Maybe because of that, I can't sync my iPod with Banshee. Why does it happen on Ubuntu Studio, and what's the work around? I tested the "normal" Ubuntu 13.04 and found that it does not happen. In an effort to speed it up a bit, I just recently replaced Ubuntu with Xubuntu 12.04 LTS. It's running better, not crashing or freezing at all. However, the power consumption is unusually high.
