http://ubuntuforums.org – Hello, I bought an HP-DM1 with SU2300 celeron core2duo CPU. unfortunatly, I was unable to activate frequency stepping (acpi-cpufreq or whatever). the SU2300 is supposed to integrate Enhanced Intel® Speedstep Technology so it should work. when I add the gnome applet, it tells me that cpu frequency scaling not supported anyone has a clue? This card works fine in Windows just by using the automatic updates. I read articles suggesting how to remove the saa7134 module and reload it with the correct card and tuner options to get it working in Ubuntu. And I get video, which is great! (Hardware)

When I install ubuntu, the wifi doesnt work (on fresh install), but bluetooth works (I can connect with my phone a browse the files on my phone micro-SD card). My wifi chip is a broadcom bc4312, so, as explained in many post, I have to use the Broadcom STA wireless driver (proprietary) and then the wifi works perfectly. (Hardware)

When I try to click, 75% of the time, it thinks I'm trying to drag. I increased the drag-and-drop threshold in the mouse settings, but that did nothing. is there any way to stabilize the stylus position/make it less sensitive? (Hardware)
