[ubuntu] Slow net access.view story

http://ubuntuforums.org – Unlike others on here who are having problems getting on the net, I am getting on the net fine. My problem is that as I use ubuntu over a period of time my net access gets slower and slower. It gets so bad that it forces me to boot back into Windows 7 where I do not have this issue at all, so it is not my wireless modem. Has anyone else had this problem and if so did you get a fix? (HowTos)

[xubuntu] NFS behind a routerview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – Hello, I'm trying to run NFS behind a router though I ran into a problem. NFS server only works when the router is set to DMZ to that computer. So I was looking how to make static ports for the NFS server unfortunately it doesn't work from the guides I saw and some of them are meant for fedora base dist(/etc/sysconfig), They say to do this and that to get ports static or to lock them. (HowTos)

[ubuntu] Ndiswrapper 64bitview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – So! I know that there are probably about a million of these topics on the forum, however none really answer my questions. Is it possible in the future 64bit drivers will work with it? and I have a NetGear Wg111v3 Wireless USB Adapter, if I'm able to find a 64bit XP driver, would it work? Thanks in advance, David (HowTos)

[ubuntu] Wireless won't connectview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – I've been using Ubuntu for a couple of years, but I'm still very much a noob. I took my laptop to an coffee shop two weeks ago and was able to connect to their free WiFi. However, since then, I have been unable to reconnect to my wireless router at home. I reset the router and did everything but I have no luck. My roommate uses Windows and he has no problem connecting. (HowTos)
