Email this pagehttp://ubuntuforums.org – I just installed Ubuntu 9.04. I switched over from MS Vista. I am pretty much a linux newb. I have a HP dv6915nr laptop. When I was running Vista i was able to get a display resolution of 1280x1024. However on ubuntu it only lets me go up to 1280x800. I have the latest/reccomended driver installed for my nvidia card.
