Using DISTINCT with a Content Provider in Androidview story

http://stackoverflow.com – I am attempting to use the distinct keyword to filter out a list of names, so it only shows the names of a duplicate entry once (ie. if Jack Smith appears twice, only show him once) I have worked out the SQL syntax and have been able to do it with a query "select distinct person_name from borrowedItems;" But I'm just trying to make it work inside my code. After a few tutorials I could do it without problems. BUT when I went back to Windows a funny thing happened. (HowTos)
