http://unix.stackexchange.com – So I have been in the process of installing a Postfix Server on my CentOS 6.2 Virtual Private Server. I have been following this tutorial: http://www.howtoforge.com/virtual-users-and-domains-with-postfix-courier... Because, I have never set up a Mail Server before.. So everything has worked fine up until the 5th page. I am on step 15. (HowTos)
http://forums.fedoraforum.org – GTK themes in Gnome 3 follow a new syntax that is different from GTK2. The new CSS syntax in GTK3 makes it easier to make themes. Though it is easy to understand the CSS syntax than the old gtkrc syntax, it is not enough to know just CSS. GTK themes are more than that. A good start can be this tutorial and specifically this. I will try to explain in brief what I have learnt about GTK3 theming. (HowTos)
http://ubuntuguide.net – Nvidia driver 302.17 was released on Jun 15, with many improvements, bug fixes and new features. (HowTos)
http://ubuntuforums.org – I'm learning how to use OpenGL with SDL and I am getting more and more into 3D models. I export them to an obj file, and my loader loads them. However, I've heard that some formats are faster than others, so I tried getting ASSIMP working so I could just use .blend files. (Hardware)
http://unix.stackexchange.com – Ok here is the deal after playing with Linux distros for best part of 4 years, I have a great urge learn some coding. However I'm a bit undecided as to which programming language to begin with. Word around is Python but is it the right choice for a guy with limited knowledge in QBASIC? (HowTos)
http://unix.stackexchange.com – At home I've got a pc tower running arch linux. Recently I also acquired laptop for on the road, but I'd like to be working on the pc tower when I'm at home. Now I'm pretty sensitive as to how my machine is configured (that's why I need the laptop, I hate the windows 7 stations at my university). I was wondering if there is a way to synchronize these two machines? (HowTos)
https://bbs.archlinux.org – There is a new project in the works called Arch Classroom, and it needs lots of planning and volunteers! The idea is that we use a section on the wiki for class material like lesson plans and tutorials. Then anyone can use that to have a class in real life or online. The project would be similar in scope to Ubuntu Classroom: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Classroom but probably more arch like. (HowTos)
http://ubuntuforums.org – I had a XBMCbuntu but I decided to switch to a fresh Ubuntu 12.04 Server 64bits install, but I do need a GUI to run stuff like XBMC, Wuala, Dropbox, Transmission, JDownloader, Chrome, etc. (Hardware)
http://forums.cpanel.net – Hi All, I am looking for help with optimizing my LINUX server to use cPGS. I don't run anything else other than Counter-Strike: Source (and eventually CSGO). What can I do to help optimize my system? What services are okay to disable? I also use ConfigServer Firewall for some iptables protection as well. (HowTos)
