I tried to install the following OS' LinuxMint 14.1 mate eeebuntu 3.0 standard ubuntu 9.10 desktop i386 ubuntu 11.10 desktop i386 on it using unetbootin-windows-442.exe and it just not working. I'm using a Toshiba flash drive with 15 gb on it. (Hardware)

It runs ok but the flash seems to use much cpu and cannot play iplayer or youtube on large screen without the picture being pixellated and 'choppy' and sound out of sync. (Hardware)

http://askubuntu.com – I got Toshiba m505 and I can't change the brightness of my screen. I can see the brightness adjusting bar move when I use fn+F6 or fn+F7 keys but nothing happens. And I installed Ubuntu on my Windows Vista Toshiba Labtop. Computer screen went black nothing was working so I held the power button down. Now computer won't boot. I have spent 24 hours doing everything you could think of to re-boot my computer. (Hardware)

The brightness control doesn't seem to work with the "brightness and lock" setting or fn f6 and fn f7 (which usually works in Windows). How can I adjust the brightness and/or access different power settings, so my computer isn't running on full power all the time? (HowTos)
