http://askubuntu.com – When I click on the exit icon there is a suspend option. When I click this the computer suspends, which works really well. I want to create a custom key mapping on the suspend command XK86Sleep (ThinkPad sleep button) which I can create using the keyboard settings. I have seen pm-suspend from numerous sources, but this requires root and so does not work. (HowTos)

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – Hi folks, I have a bit of a problem. Without doing any updates (unless there was an automatic one that I can't remember), the wifi on my brand-new Thinkpad x220 has started dropping the connection every 10 minutes or so, and ESPECIALLY if I let it go to sleep. The network manager in gnome thinks it's still connected, so I can't just hit reconnect. (HowTos)
http://forums.fedoraforum.org – Hey everybody, I'm running Fedora 16 on a Lenovo Thinkpad X61. Gnome 3 has been working just fine for months, but crashed out on me all of a sudden just a little while ago. Rebooted in fallback mode. This happened before with this computer while running Ubuntu. I recently installed GIMP and a bunch of dependencies, which is the only think I can think of that would have caused this. (HowTos)
http://ubuntuforums.org – I first started using Ubuntu in the first half of 2007 on an OLD IBM Thinkpad that I had gotten second-hand. The original Windows install on it was so messed up I couldn't do anything with it, and the driver hell that I wound up going through trying to install it made me want to throw the poor thing out the window. http://forums.fedoraforum.org – Hi, Just this weekend, I got rid of the Windows 7 on my x201 and installed F17 onto it. (HowTos)
