Every now and then it RANDOMLY stalls on things like loading web pages, pinging websites, and downloading files though http. I have broadcom 4312 firmware and I run ubuntu 10.10. [ubuntu] Problem with ipredator VPN routing on 10.04 lucidview story

This is a server and I don't have X installed so none of the guides for desktops are relevant. I have my ipredator pptp vpn configured correctly and it comes up fine. (HowTos)
