I got one and when I insert the device, Linux never sees it. In Windows, it appears like normal and drivers install. In OpenSUSE 11.3, the device is never recognized; no lights turn on, not listed under iwconfig, or networkmanager. (Distributions)

I think the udev rule provided by the vendor is suited for a debian system and not for openSUSE. When i see the dmesg output, it adds driver for ttyUSB0 and as soon as it adds it also removes it. System management is locked by the application with pid 6890 (/usr/sbin/packagekitd) I literally have to kill -9 pid everytime I run it. What is going on here? (Distributions)

Email this pagehttp://forums.opensuse.org – I'm running SUSE 11.3 with KDE 4.4.4, last night I installed the proprietary Nvidia drivers for my MSI NX8600GT card using this guide. After restarting all the text on my computer became so small it's almost unusable. I found the settings to change most of it back in desktop settings, but it's still small in the tool bars at the tops of my programs, in the terminal and at the log in screen. (Distributions)
