How Do I Partition and Format Second Hard Drive?view story

http://forums.opensuse.org – I just added a 2nd SATA drive to my openSuse 11.2 desktop. What do I do now to partition and format? I want to partition some of the new drive for linux, and leave some of it unpartitioned for Windows (I dual boot). I want to leave my existing 1st drive as is. What tool do I use? How do I proceed? Internet disconnection when watching flash videosview story

http://forums.opensuse.org – Hi folks, I'm not sure whether this problem suits this section, though this was the best place I could find. It happens a lot that when I'm watching flash videos (e.g. on youtube) I get disconnected from the internet for a short time (about a minute - sometime less and sometime a little more). Sometimes I reconnect manually as it seems to work faster. (Distributions)

Distros based on Opensuseview story

http://forums.opensuse.org – I was talking to the IT guys at work and we got onto the subject about distros, and this got me thinking why there are not more Distros based on Opensuse ? I wonder what makes people use Debian or Ubuntu based instead of Opensuse ? I wonder about this, just because Opensuse has so many good tools, Suse Studio comes to mind. I have played with Studio and its wild what it can do. (Distributions)

http://forums.opensuse.org – Hi, I'm trying to install openSUSE on my Mac BooK Pro. I installed the software on my laptop but cannot boot into it. Screen resolution must be selected at every rebootview story

http://forums.opensuse.org – I am using a Lenovo T500 Thinkpad with 1680x1050 display. Most of the time I do not use the built-in Lenovo display, I use an external 1920x1200 display instead. Every time I reboot, I have to use Configure Desktop > Display to change the resolution from pre-selected 1680x1050 to 1920x1200 (Auto). See image below. What can I do to avoid having to do this at every restart? (Distributions)

wifi blinks on and offview story

http://forums.opensuse.org – Hi I've looked through the stickies but couldn't find anything which seemed to help. My problem seems to be intermittent. I can connect to the net fine but after a while web pages stop loading. This coincides with a light on my laptop which indicates whether the wireless is turned on or not flashing, the actual connection manager doesn't indicate lost signal or anything else.
