I was using the default driver, and grandr had grayed out the "extend" option--I was stuck on "clone". Someone recommended trying the fglrx driver, so I installed it and rebooted. And was met with about 80% of my desktop wallpaper that had some random corruption. (HowTos)

Ctrl-Alt-Fn keys dont work in vmwareview story

http://www.linuxquestions.org – Hi all. I am using windows XP as my host machine and vmware workstation 6 to install and run RHEL 5. I have set the inittab to runlevel 5. While i am in gnome, i tried pressing Ctrl-Alt-F3 and nothing happens. I searched the net and found that i should do this Ctrl-Alt-Shift-F3. It worked and kinda throwed me to shell mode. (HowTos)

Don't get me wrong, Crunchbang is fast, but Debian is not thaaat fast, while Arch Linux is. So, I want to keep it that way: light. (HowTos)
