VMware P2V Help.view story

http://hardforum.com – Need to convert a physical windows server 2008 box into a VMware VM. Is there a way to do this with only one computer? Ideally I'd convert the 2008 box to VM and back up the .vmdk,etc. to an external hard drive, so that I can then install ESXi to USB and format the existing windows server 2008 HDD to VMFS datastore which I'd then move converted VM to. Is this possible with only one computer? (Hardware)

However with so many different types of devices I have needing to connect to the server, this is no longer a viable option. So I need to know how to remove the authentication of checking for a PGP key on my server. Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Server, No GUI. (Hardware)

take a chance on Used Seagate Constellation drives vs "NAS" drives?view story

http://hardforum.com – Just getting some opinions, but would anyone take a chance on some used Seagate 3TB Constellation drives over new Seagate NAS or Barracudas? Or even WD Reds? The reason I'm asking is because of all the failures I see on these so-called "NAS" drives... I hear of lots of DOA's etc.. (Hardware)
