[MOD+ROM] Flashable Mods [JDQ39 OTA] odex + deodexed stockview story

http://forums.androidcentral.com – Please note, these have at this point only been tested on the WiFi version. Some or all may work on the 3G version, but no promises. Flash at your own risk. I am sure many will agree that choosing between a true stock experience and the plethera of custom roms (and thier many lovely options) can be a challenge. Myself, I usually go with the CyanogenMod myself, just for the options. (HowTos)

http://ubuntuforums.org – Kind of new to Ubuntu and greatly testing the waters. I am dual booting with windows but I am forcing myself to use Ubuntu while I work on websites and such. If there are any others in the programming/web design/development field who care to share their setup/screenshots/etc it would be greatly appreciated. Goal: completely ditch Windows. Go! (Hardware)

Called “Smart scroll” the phone can apparently scroll based on a user’s head angle. This will work in browsers and emails. Novelty? Probably. Innovation? Absolutely. Auto-tracking is the next frontier in user interaction. (IT news)

How to free the Print keyview story

http://askubuntu.com – I would like to use the Print key for my own purpose. By default, it is bound to various screenshot functions. I tried the following, which did not work: [System settings] [keyboard] [shortcuts] [screenshots]. There I disabled all Print variations with Backspace. Closing the app and reentering shows me that all these functions are disabled. (HowTos)

Running an application server-side from an Android clientview story

http://stackoverflow.com – I would like to build an Android app that will communicate with a server, running on my HTPC at home. The Android application should start Windows Media Center on the server-side computer (my HTPC...), for recording TV capture screenshots, and so on... I set up a WAMP server on my home computer, opened a port, and the server is working fine. (HowTos)

http://forum.xda-developers.com – I am trying to mount sdcard/0, which is my internal sd card. I am using a CM10 rom and realized that /sdcard is now /storage/sdcard0 in jelly bean. I am the only one on the CM10 fourm who can't mount his/hers. When I go to settings-storage-usb storage, I click "mount sd card" and the phone freezes, then it says calculating and it disappears.
