He gave me an Ubuntu cd and I went ahead and made a dual-boot. After playing around with it I discovered you can do much more than you ever would in Windows. However, every time I connect to the instance via SSH I get the following error: find: '/opt/aws/amitools': No such file or directory Is there any way I can restore amitools (preferably without removing RVM and Ruby 1.9.3) ? I am not a Linux-pro, not even advanced, i just tried to setup a webserver, which does nothing special actually. Delivering some dynamic PHP and RoR websites is its task.
