Some strange scenario about NATview story

http://www.linuxquestions.org – Hi guys, I'll try my best to picture your the scenario... We have a voice server created for flight simulator software. This voice server is pretty old and it's not open source so we can't make any changes to the software. The software runs with a configuration file and that file asks for the IP that the server will be running. (HowTos)

[ubuntu] How do i forward Transmission connections?view story

http://ubuntuforums.org – Now I know how to set up port forwarding on a router so this is not that. yea. What I want to do is, if possible, connect from Computer A to computer B and use computer B as a proxy for all of the Transmission (bit torrent) connections. I know how to do this with DNS, Http, etc etc but I'm not quite sure how to go at this with torrenting. (HowTos)

[ubuntu] Lost network connectionview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – I trialled Ubuntu 10.0.4 via my CD yesterday and managed to connect to the internet. When I next started Win XP I found that I had lost my network connection. The card does not show in device manager so I finally installed a new card to try to solve the problem. Although this one is recognised by the device manager and I can set up a LAN, I still cannot get online. (HowTos)

Setting up VPN to allow Mac, Linux, and Windows clientsview story

http://www.linuxquestions.org – First, let me state that I know very little about networking. I am a software developer. I have a client in Pittsburgh that has a Mac server and a Linux (RHEL) server on a LAN. They have a Netgear FVS 318v3 router on which they had a VPN running. They could do this because they had the router configured for IP-SEC and they only had Mac laptops as clients. (HowTos)
