iptables setup - internal / external trafficview story

http://www.linuxquestions.org – Hi, I'm using Slackware 13, kernel 2.6.29.6-smp. I'm running Apache, MySQL, UPnP server, DAA server, Samba, TorrentFlux and want SSH access. My server will be placed in the DMZ of my router, and so I would like to drop all traffic from the internet unless it's for: - Apache (port 80) - SSH (port 22) - TorrentFlux (BitTornado, 49160-49300) (HowTos)

Huawei SmartAX MT810 connection at boot (arnet)view story

http://forums.opensuse.org – Suse was my first Linux choice five years ago. I was absolutely dazzled, but my wife made me drop it after 20 days of not being able to get an internet connection. I thought of trying again after so long to see if things had become easier for every Argentina user who has a Huawei connection (more than half of the country). Unfortunately not. (Distributions)

OS 11.2: Cannot now access Internetview story

http://forums.opensuse.org – Is there a network trouble shooting guide for OS 11.2 that I could follow? I've shot myself in the foot so I should try to fix it. I changed the DNS server addresses and the number of IP addresses on my router. I then set my Linux system to use static IP addressing and edited the network settings for my network adapter accordingly. I can now no longer get to any web-site. (Distributions)
