Rhythmbox set for MP3 rips CD as flac filesview story

http://www.linuxquestions.org – Using Ubuntu 10.04 LTS and Rhythmbox 0.12.8. First issue was I could not get MP3 to show as a "Preferred format", but then installed the "gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly-multiverse package"; MP3 was then a "Preferred format" option. Now that MP3 is the preferred format, the CD is ripped in a "flac" format. Is there some conversion? (HowTos)
