[ubuntu] No sound from Built-in cardview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – I'm running the AMD64 bit version of 9.10 on a desktop with an old MSI K8N Neo4 motherboard with an nvidia nforce4 ultra chipset. The sound is not working. Is there a driver for this? i tried downloading the proprietary one ubuntu reccomends but it didn't work, even after reboot. (Hardware)

http://ubuntuforums.org – I am running the fully up to date Mythbuntu. I have both pm-suspend and s2ram working now (have to rmmod v4l2_common before suspend for the computer to wake up, and then modprobe once it has started) but my Hauppauge HVR-1600 PCI tuner card will not wake up. All the /dev files (video0, video24, radio0, frontend0) are missing after waking up from suspend. Everything works fine after a reboot. (Hardware)

http://ubuntuforums.org – I have an external e-sata hard drive that when I plug is does not show under /dev or fdisk -l. I always have to reboot my unbuntu box for it to detect and mount the thing.
