Free up more space on /bootview story

http://askubuntu.com – My /boot partition is nearly full and I get a warning every time I reboot my system. I already deleted old kernel packages (linux-headers...), actually I did that to install a newer kernel version that came with the automatic updates. After installing that new version, the partition is nearly full again. So what else can I delete? Are there some other files associated to the old kernel images? (HowTos)

Belkin F5D7051 Wireless G Plus USB Adapter problemview story

https://bbs.archlinux.org – Gusar wrote:Some of these Belkin dongles indeed do work without ndiswrapper. But we can't know that without the output of lsusb. Does lsusb show absolutely nothing, or does it show a device with a blank name? And absolutely nothing in dmesg, not even a "new usb device"? That would be weird, the kernel should at least acknowledge that a device was plugged in. (HowTos)

[ubuntu] How to get Optimus working on ASUS U45JC in using Bumblebee in Ubuntu 11.10view story

http://ubuntuforums.org – It took me FOREVER to get this working properly on this laptop, and I know I'm not the only linux user with this machine, so I will post a solution here. Note: This will not work if you have installed NVidia proprietary drivers. For best results, do this from a clean install, and do not opt to install restricted add-ons, as this will install the proprietary drivers. (Hardware)
