For some reason, when I plug my headphones into the jack on my laptop, the audio STILL comes out of my main speakers as well as the headphones. I tried out another pair of headphones just to make sure it wasn't them that was the problem, but the problem still persisted. I just want to listen to music through my headphones...:| (Hardware)

If I boot up from the live disc Ubuntu has no problem detecting and installing my card's driver, but on my installation it doesn't autodetect it and I can't figure out how to manually install the drivers on the broadcom site.
