Need Privoxy to start up during boot on 11.3 kde4.view story

http://forums.opensuse.org – I am completely fed up trying to do it. I had no problems with 11.0. It refuses to start up during boot like tor. I added tor to the kde start menu and it works just fine after boot. Privoxy refuses to start up during boot. I have to go into SU mode in terminal, then it works. I need to be able to start Privoxy the same way. (Distributions)

[ubuntu] Wireless networking and DNS problemview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – I have a wireless card and though I can connect to the wireless network through the wireless router, I am having problems bringing up a web page. I tried to ping the DNS servers, but it does not respond to any pings though an Internet server 8.8.8.8 does allow me to ping it. When I first set it up, it worked just fine and then a few hours later, it would not work anymore. (HowTos)

Bash vi mode not working perfectview story

http://www.linuxquestions.org – Hey guys, I am trying to use bash vi mode by issuing "set -o vi" but I am facing two issues; first many of the vi commands are not working and second once I am in the command mode by pressing the Esc key just after I press a single button (e.g., b to go back a word) the mode changes to the normal insert mode. I'm wondering whether there is a way around these two problems. (HowTos)

basefont tag in firefoxview story

http://forums.opensuse.org – This may (or may not) duplicate yester64's post but I'm trying to learn html and I've been going crazy with the <basefont /> tag. KompoZer, Opera, and Firefox all ignore it. However, any <font /> tag I use works with no problems What's really maddening is that I copied the file to the windows side and IE works wonderfully with the same file although Firefox still ignores it!!! http://forums.opensuse.org – Hello everyone, Its about 6 month I'm with Linux and since 2 months with Suse. Since the day I migrated to Linux I frequently encountered a question "are games available for Linux?" When I first installed Ubuntu 6 months back I found out basic games like freecell, spider, mine sweeper and others. Its the same games that ship with Windows too. (Distributions)
