USB Mounting Problems. My Linux Distro is wacked.view story

http://www.linuxquestions.org – I'll explain what the problem is now and try to back track. Ive been trying to use a MP3 player on Linux and gave up and ended up using Xp pro to load it. I bought a USB jump drive to experiment with to see if it would aid in understanding my MP3 player woes. The jumpdrive would be detected in HardDrake but not open a window so I could access it in "Places", "Compter". (HowTos)

initramfs-tools scripts and initrd image for encrypted systemview story

http://www.linuxquestions.org – I'm trying to get my system encrypted with truecrypt but I'm facing some problems (please don't tell me to use luks or loop-aes, my objective is to use truecrypt). The most blatant issue is the fact that the script that I put in /etc/initramfs-tools/scripts/local-top/local-top-truecrypt is not being executed at all. In fact, it's not even present in the generated initrd image. (HowTos)

Software Raid1 problemsview story

http://www.linuxquestions.org – Well I guess I'm back with new questions! I "almost" successfully implemented a RAID1 setup in my server using a VERY good website https://raid.wiki.kernel.org/index.p...ID_Boot_Recipe Basically, I had a working system on a SATA HDD but the drive died. I transferred (using dd) all data to a new HDD, and got an identical HDD for RAID1. (HowTos)
