Pacsurfer, a dependency helper toolview story

https://bbs.archlinux.org – A couple questions / suggestions:* Is it possible to get package size  in KB, MB, GB? I see the totals are converted to e.g. MB.* Actually, I get 'Installed Size 150 Mb' and 'instal 5 packages, total 4 Mb' - Mb means mega bit, it should read MB i.e. mega byte. * Decide whether you want to use capital letters or not, examples abound e.g. Req v. opt.* Typos e.g. (HowTos)

http://serverfault.com – I have a cron job that runs a PHP script and creates files (images). But the cron job is running as me (being me my own username), not apache, nobody, httpd, www... and all the files created belongs to this user. Can Linux support a "Ralink corp. RT2800 802.11n PCI" (maybe a RT2860STA?) in an Asus EEE 901 netbook [migrated]view story

http://serverfault.com – OK, I know that this isn't going to be straightforward, but I'd really like to get it working. About 18-24 months ago, my Asus EEE 901 netbook was working fine - running Ubuntu - and I let it 'upgrade' as the update manager suggested. The wi-fi subsequently failed - and, while busy with other things, fiddled and 'hosed' the OS install. The netbook stayed in a cupboard until this weekend... (HowTos)

http://serverfault.com – I have one Linux LAMP webserver (Ubuntu) with some websites on it. They all run within the same apache2 instance and are accessible by different vhosts. Most of them are run by myself, but I also have some friends websites hosted there. I want and use to have separate user accounts for different websites to manage files, cronjobs etc. The webserver runs as www-data. Now most of the files/dire (HowTos)
