Gaming rig for friend. Make sense?view story

http://hardforum.com – This is the 4th machine I will build for this good friend of mine. Last one made it 6 years (still going actually!) A new record! This new rig will be build with the following in mind: GPU and SSD (m.2) upgrade down the line. Plus a new monitor at some point, most likely 27" 2560x1440. Main doubts are SSD and Cooler. Also is it a good idea to buy now and not in mid December? (Hardware)

Pentium Anniversary Edition for Webview story

http://hardforum.com – I would like to play with the Pentium AE and now I have the perfect excuse: I need a new PC for an elderly person, HDD is failing, PSU is acting up and it's already 9 years old. He does a lot of web browsing and some video watching from time to time. I see he hates waiting for it to start up, so SSD is a certainty already. 1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? (Hardware)

Flash Vulnerability Being Exploited In Large-Scale Attacksview story

http://hardforum.com – Aside from Photoshop, exploits and vulnerabilities, is there anything Adobe is good at anymore? Quote: Windows and Mac users should update to Flash Player 15.0.0.189, or 13.0.0.250 if they’re using the extended support release. Users of Flash Player on Linux should upgrade to version 11.2.202.411. (Hardware)
