Man, visiting the PCLinuxOS forums reminds me why I love #!view story

http://crunchbanglinux.org – It's been a while since I've fiddled with PCLOS, but I bought a cheap netbook yesterday and wanted to put PCLOS on it. Searching the forums for solutions to my problems (no sound, no battery meter, etc.) I noticed just how...unkind the community is compared to, say, Crunchbang. Man, that forum (those forums?) is (are?) like a totalitarian state. Maybe a police state. (HowTos)

Can't boot up Statlerview story

http://crunchbanglinux.org – Ever since Alpha 2 was released earlier this year, I've tried several times to burn a Crunchbang CD, but every time I try to boot it up, I keep getting the error "Buffer I/O error on device sr0 Logical Block XXXXXX".  I have a Sony CD burner and an HP DVD burner on my computer (2 separate drives).  I've tried burning the CDs in both of them, and that doesn't work (HowTos)

http://www.linuxquestions.org – I have a Belkin usb adapter ieee 802.11b/11 Mbps model # F5D6050. It is readily "seen" and activated by some distro's, i.e., PClinuxos but not many others. I do not know how to go about getting these other distro's to use this adapter. They find no wireless networks! I would appreciate any help! Thank you (HowTos)

PClinuxOS: Radically Simpleview story

http://blog.redmondxp.com – or a long period I used PClinuxOS 2007 with KDE as my main operating system, but many programs I needed where not working and KDE seemed slow on my AMD 3000+ single processor, so I switched back to Windows. After around a year, I had a very nice virus on my USB, which infected all my school and also my home PC. (Distributions)

PCLOS 2010 not connecting to Internetview story

http://www.linuxquestions.org – Hi, I have been using PCLOS for a few years now, 2007 and 2009. My PC connects via eth0 to an ADSL modem/router either with static IP or DHCP and Internet works fine. I formatted a partition and installed PCLOS 2010.7 KDE to it. I booted the new system, expecting to (almost) never see the old (HowTos)
