HP DM4 Dualboot issueview story

http://www.linuxquestions.org – Hi, I just installed Linux Mint Cinnamon on my HP DM4 laptop. Mint has always worked well on there though I have mostly used live discs. I installed and rebooted and it only boots Windows. I cannot find a way to redo the bootloader without starting again with the disc, any ideas? If I use the disc and reinstall, can I do anything different to ensure I get a boot option? (HowTos)

This system is running F18. My F19 installation has only the one initramfs. What is triggering the generation of the kdump files on F18? (HowTos)
