Apache to Nginx rewrite rulesview story

http://serverfault.com – I'm running Nginx on an Apache server. Everything seems smooth except rewrite rules for IE, my site is displaying perfectly on Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera except Internet Explorer where images comes with red X and links doesn't seem to work. I need help to rewrite rules for IE, here is my .htaccess file. I heard Nginx don't support .htaccess, if not then where should add any rules for IE? (HowTos)

[lubuntu] font controlview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – It seem Ubuntu desktop has decided it will override font choice in printing and applications. I am using Firefox, and to get FF fonts to where I want them - I have to tweak the desktop etc, fonts. I am not trying to use a non-system font, just what came with 11.04. Normally, if the font is in the system, the application will use the font of choice. (Hardware)

Intermittently "slow" http proxy over ssh tunnelview story

http://serverfault.com – I have an apache virtual host running a reverse proxy accepting connections from the servers IP. To access, I'm running an SSH tunnel from localhost -> server, and pointing my browsers proxy settings at localhost:ssh-tunnel-port. Occasionally (I don't have benchmarks) everything running through the proxy connection is slow. (HowTos)

My Droid REFUSES to play ANY videos that are streamed over the internet!view story

http://androidforums.com – So, I haven't the slightest idea why, but in the middle of no-where, my phone just hands-down stops loading ANY videos over the internet. By this, I mean the youtube app doesn't work [nor do any apps that play youtube videos], m.youtube.com doesn't work, dailymotion.com doesn't work, etc. At first [when I tried to play it in the app], I thought it was a video problem. Hotlink Protection in Nginx working too well in Firefoxview story

http://serverfault.com – I use hotlink protection in Nginx and it is working very well! For some reason - and the reason for this question - it is not allowing visitors to my site using firefox to see any images, which they should. For IE, Chrome, Safari, and Opera, it works just fine. Images show up on my site but not if you try to hotlink. I checked Firefox on Win and on Mac and it happens in both places. (HowTos)
